Stressed To The Max As The Big Move Approaches!

17th March 2016

Nearly there!!! Get me to this beach, pronto!!
Hi guys,

As I write this blog I have under two weeks until I move to Ibiza! The past two weeks have been the most stressful since giving birth to my first child,  probably the reasons I have also experienced the most horrendous back pain which has been extremely draining and exhausting.
Due to the high amounts of stress my eczema has returned together with hiving on my hands, arms and legs so I’m currently on a super clean diet, not eating anything that could be even slightly inflammatory or processed near my mouth! SSssooooo dull, but needs to be done!

The mineral magnesium, has been my best friend to me for the past few weeks as that is what our body cries out for when we are stressed. Did you know that the majority of the population are deficient in magnesium? I’m consuming an abundance of leafy green veg which is high in magnesium, as well as a powdered supplement.

I have also been selling my house furniture through facebook, packing up the contents of our home, cancelling utilities, completing change of address forms, running CCWK, photo shoots,  cookery demos, and had two radio broadcasts to fit in. Not forgetting three physio appointments a week to help with my back problem! This coupled with the usual day to day role as taxi driver for the children’s after school activities, I have continued to teach spin classes (off the bike due to my back!!!).

Tony and I on BBC Essex!

I have just been focusing on one day at a time trying to do what I tell clients to do- ‘be present in the moment’! Oh and I nearly forgot l have had all three of my  children’s birthday parties to organize within the past three weeks!

On a brighter note, I think the physiotherapy has helped my back and now the birthday quaduple celebrations are complete I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
I have accepted that the next few days will be tough, even more so because my husband is away on business until Friday whilst I take the household helm 100%.

See ya later Fave sofa!

The removal men come on Saturday (which is actually Immy’s birthday), and will arrive in Ibiza on Tuesday to be greeted by my husband, his mum,( nanny Cherry who is totally amazing) and Immy who is flying out before me.

I’m sorting out the last minute bits this end, waiting for Henstar to get back from a five day school trip.

Secretly, I’m hoping  all the unpacking has been done by then and I can lay by the pool with an Aperol Spritzer!! Any offers?

It’s pretty warm in Ibiza so I’ve set my heart on taking a weeks holiday upon arrival to absorb some vitamin D to help this eczema, hiving, stressed out body of mine!

In case you are wondering, Margo is being driven and will join us in April following a 16 hour ferry ride. Good luck to my husband who has to put up with her snoring!

Stay stress free guys! And as I keep reminding myself if it was meant to be all plain sailing and a walk in a park more people will up sticks and move abroad!!

Love Kate xx
