Coffee Stop Smoothie

Serves Serves 1

This is a fantastic smoothie for the coffee loving chocoholics out there! It will give you a real buzz in the morning and is great as a pre-workout snack. The coffee will start you up and the nutritious smoothie will fill you up. Now that’s what I call a good morning!

 

What you need

1 shot espresso coffee

1 banana, peeled, chopped and frozen

1 scoop unflavoured protein powder

120ml almond milk

120ml coconut water

1 tbsp raw cacao powder

Handful ice

What you do

Remove the banana from the freezer 10 minutes prior to making your smoothie.

Place all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.

Place the ice into a glass and pour the smoothie over the top.
